Historic Querrin House is a very traditional large 17th Century farmhouse lovingly and sympathetically renovated over many years by its permanent live-in family.
Querrin House offers the opportunity of pure escape from the vagaries of the world to one of the most beautiful and peaceful locations in Ireland. Warmly nestled in the most westerly mature deciduous wood in West Clare, sheltered from the Wild Atlantic weather, very private and personal, Querrin House is a warm, loved and lived-in family house, carefully minded by its family.
The manicured gardens of Querrin House sweep down to the shoreline of the River Shannon Estuary from a backdrop of our Walnut, Copper Beech, Tulip, Sweet Chestnut, Ash and Sycamore feature trees to present you with a truly magnificent open view of historic Scattery Island with its monastic Round Tower and the beautiful green fields of County Kerry just a couple of kilometres across the estuary.
Your accommodation is The Rookery a fully self-contained, private, completely modernised - in traditional fashion, wing of Querrin House. The Rookery is best suited for 4 adults and consists of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, Kitchen, Dining room with farmhouse range, Sitting room, Sunroom and front & rear hallways.
In Querrin House, the nature of your holiday is totally to your own liking. We your hosts would very much like to suggest that you come to our very private house in Querrin to escape, totally relax and just de-stress yourselves away from the madness and weariness of the world.
